Choose a PRISM Health and Dental Insurance that’s right for you

Understanding that everyone’s health care needs and finances are unique, PRISM offers you three programs to choose from – Prism Continuum, Prism Precision and Prism Spectra. Within each of these programs are four different plans, each offering varying levels of coverage, so you can decide on the one that’s best for you.

Being able to choose the coverage that suits your individual requirements ensures that you are not paying a higher premium than necessary or paying for coverage you don’t really want or need. The more basic your requirements, the lower your premiums will be.

Best of all, eight Prism plans offer guaranteed acceptance – with no medical exam or questionnaire required regardless of your current health status – an important consideration if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.

The Prism SPECTRA program

Prism Spectra can be your ideal solution if you and your family are in good health and are looking for supplemental healthcare coverage with a full range of benefits and high benefit maximums. In fact, it may be your best choice for future health care needs.

A medical questionnaire is required to qualify for this extensive coverage. Even if you have an existing health issue, there may be a Prism Spectra plan for you.

The Prism PRECISION program

Looking for a practical way to supplement the coverage offered by your provincial government health plan? Want to gain the security of knowing you’re protected against the cost of both ongoing and unexpected health care expenses? Had difficulties securing insurance in the past because of health issues?

The Prism Precision program offers four comprehensive plans that will provide you and your family with basic coverage, including coverage for pre-existing conditions. Enrolment is guaranteed. There is no medical exam or questionnaire is required.

Prism Precision can be your ideal solution if you have an existing health issue and are looking for guaranteed coverage. And its ideal for anyone not looking for prescription drug coverage.

The Prism CONTINUUM program

Losing your group benefits? Worried about the healthcare expenses you’re going to have to pay because you are no longer covered by your group plan at work? Anxious because you may not qualify for other coverage due to health issues?

Prism Continuum offers four plans that will provide guaranteed coverage for anyone up to age 80 – even for those with pre-existing medical conditions– if you, your spouse, or dependents apply within 90 days of losing your/their company group health benefits.

The coverage is comprehensive– even with pre-existing conditions. Continuum plans are the best choice to cover ongoing and unexpected health care expenses. And you can complete the Prism Spectra medical questionnaire if you wish, as you may be eligible for another program with more comprehensive benefits (exclusions may apply).
