Multi-Trip Emergency Medical Travel Insurance

Canadians who travel frequently are often not aware of the high costs of medical treatment and hospitalization outside their province, territory or country of residence.

This oversight can prove to be very costly, because if you do need medical care while you’re away, you may have to pay some – if not all – of your healthcare costs out of your own pocket, making travel insurance essential.

You can’t predict the future, but you can prepare for it.

The good news is that if you travel frequently throughout the year, it may be less expensive to purchase Multi-Trip coverage. If you are planning a longer trip you can always purchase a Top-Up.

The coverage offered by Medi-Select Advantage Emergency Medical Travel Insurance provides coverage for multiple trips of:

  • 9, 16, 30 or 60 consecutive days (ages 54 and under)
  • 9, 16, 30 or 60 consecutive days (ages 55-79)
  • 9, 16 consecutive days (ages 80 & over)

NOTE: Multi-Trip Travel Insurance must be purchased prior to departure.
