Prism® Health Insurance Programs
Green Shield Canada’s Prism® programs offer three benefit options: Prism Spectra®, Prism Precision® and Prism Continuum®. Within each of these programs, there are three different plans with varying levels of protection. For many of these plans, coverage is guaranteed and no medical questionnaire is required. This gives you the flexibility to choose a plan based on your needs and budget. Prism® provides access to prescription drugs, dental care, vision care, extended health care, registered therapists and specialists, travel emergency services (to individuals under 65) and semi-private hospital accommodation.
- Prism Spectra®
Spectra is a great option if you’re concerned about cutbacks to your provincial government health insurance plan or want the peace of mind knowing you’re protected against rising health care costs. It offers comprehensive coverage, a broad range of benefits and high benefit maximums. Spectra can be the ideal solution if you are in good health and want to maximize your health care coverage. - Prism Precision®
Precision is an excellent choice if you would like to supplement the coverage offered by your provincial government health plan or if you want the comfort of knowing you are protected against the burden of health care expenses. Your acceptance is guaranteed, and the plan includes coverage for pre-existing conditions. Precision is a practical way to provide you and your family with basic health care coverage. - Prism Continuum®
Continuum is the best solution if you’re leaving a company group plan, worried about how you’re going to pay medical expenses or anxious that you might not qualify for other coverage because of health issues. It offers comprehensive coverage—even if you have pre-existing conditions. Coverage is guaranteed if you apply within 60 days of losing your group health insurance.
